We are excited to extend an invitation to the 3rd annual Queen's Psychology Career Conference 2021!
This virtual conference will take place over Zoom on Friday, March 19th, from 11:00-2:30 p.m EST.
This event is not a careers fair, but an opportunity for students in Psychology to explore the various career paths that can stem from a degree in Psychology. This year, we have mentors including: a Behaviour Analyst, a Probation and Parole Services Manager, and the founder of Alpha Ethics Research & Consulting. We are also excited to announce our Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Veitch, who works for the National Research Council of Canada and specializes in Environmental Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity to network, develop your skills, and discover careers that you may wish to pursue. All attendees will be mailed a certificate of attendance.
11:00-12:00 Professional Development from Queen's Career Services
12:00-1:00 Keynote Presentation by Dr. Jennifer Veitch
1:00-2:00 Mentorship Meetings
2:00-2:30 Networking
"Attending this conference gave me so much confidence as a psychology student and taught me skills I am already using to solidify my next steps after graduation. I am so thankful for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people and take in all of their wisdom!" Victoria Sharpe, Past Psychology Student.
